New Regional Referee Administrator
Stephanie McDonald has accepted the position of Regional Referee Administrator for El Cajon Region 168. The AYSO volunteer position of Regional Referee Administrator is intended to implement, monitor, and maintain the AYSO National Referee Program including program delivery, staff development, communication, and coordination at the regional level. The specific duties and responsibilities of the RRA can be found here. Tie Break Procedures
Tie break procedures are applied in play-off games that end in a tie at the end of regulation time. No overtime will be played; instead the referee shall proceed with Kicks from the Penalty Mark until a winner is determined. The kicks from the penalty mark shall be conducted in accordance with the Laws of the Game, For more information click on the link below

AYSO Player Referee Organization (PRO)
Youth development is the central focus of the AYSO program. This includes development of youth whether they are soccer players or soccer referees. The Player Referee Organization (PRO) is an important part of youth referee development. All the AYSO guidelines and policies on providing a "Safe, Fair, and Fun" environment for players also applies to youth referees. Only "Positive, Instructive, and Encouraging" comments are allowed to be directed at youth players or youth referees. This policy is to make it clear that verbal abuse of youth referees is as unacceptable as verbal abuse of youth players. Click the link for more details.

Game Misconduct Report
Any caution (yellow) or sending-off (red) must be reported to the Regional Referee Adminstrator (RRA). The report should be made on the game misconduct report and emailed to the RRA at StephanieMcDonald1@cox.net within 24 hours of the game.
